Cruise Tourism Roundtable – Agenda Suggestions
Following English Tourism Week, Darren Paffey MP will be hosting a roundtable on maximising the benefits of cruise tourism for businesses in Southampton.
The roundtable will be co-chaired by Darren Paffey MP and Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) and will bring together a small group of local businesses, tourism leaders and cruise industry representatives.
Southampton is the busiest cruise port in Northern Europe, and cruise tourism plays an important role in the city’s economy. The discussion will focus on how we can grow the benefits for local businesses and encourage more cruise visitors to stay longer and spend more time in the city.
