The assisted dying bill is due to be introduced to Parliament on the 16th October. The bill is aimed at legalising assisted dying for terminally ill patients. When the bill is introduced we will have more details about how this will work and the conditions set.
When it is voted on in Parliament, it has been confirmed this will be a free vote, which means party politics will play no part in how I or other MPs vote on the issue.
Due to this, I am wanting to hear views from you, my constituents, about how you feel about the issue. Your views can help me make my final decision on the issue.
